Enchanting Moments
I know you have created Rainbows as a special gift to me.
You now reside in a new light Realm. It must be so Heavenly.
You came to me last night in a vision. I alone was privileged to view.
I saw the lovely transformation of the Pet I am so attached to.
You coat was ever so shiny. It had sprinklings of the finest gold dust.
The Angels must adore you. You are a reflection of their soothing touch.
I watched you lazing by the icy stream. You seem so contented and so free.
You dipped your paw once or twice but retreated ever so gingerly.
I listened to the magical music. The furry ones had staged a grand affair.
It was such an enchanting moment only I was privy to see.
They lovingly welcomed others to the Animal Kingdom's furry community.
It was quite a ceremony. Their Masters and Mistress would be so pleased.
They too someday will rejoin and rejoice to see theirs whole and totally at ease.
You were standing on the velvet bed of the finest green.
It was more beautiful than anything on earth I had ever seen.
The wildflowers danced and swayed. Their fragrances filled the air.
Please don't let me wake up yet. I know you have much more to share.
It happened all to fast. It was a twinkling of an eye.
I now know it is a true beginning and no longer will I be sad and cry.
I will no longer ask why you had to die.
There will be a few teardrops but they will be from utter glee.
I too one day will prepare for my final journey over the turquoise sea.
Our hearts will be reunited when I am finally called to your home.
We will explore you world together. We will never again be alone.
I will sail by an Ark to the Rainbow Sea. You will meet me a the pier.
Oh my funny furry one you are still the one I hold so dear.
The Angels will give me a Mother of Pearl key to unlock the Pearly Gates.
I will cross in the grandest style and never once look back or hesitate.
