Arctic's Gate to Pet Haven
You are so dearly missed and loved
My beloved and cherished pet
You frolic among the Northern Lights
You my love I will never forget

So often I considered only Rainbows
As the other side of the Bridge
Yet these mystical Northern Lights
Permit me a glimpse of your Ridge
Not all will ever view your sights
But those up in the frozen North see
You live and thrive brightly forever
I feel honored you share it with me

The glorious colors dance and mesmerize
It's something one can not forget
Their sights sparkle like the rarest gold
On you my darling dearest pet
The lights are like a stage curtain
Drawn open for a show
It's worth the wait and anticipation
Oh Yes I still love you so

I can see you are so happy now
No longer do you limp or ache
I now too know your pain
But let there be no mistake
Life is not the same for me
It could nor never be
I am just so awed and grateful
The Northern Lights share you with me
I know you want to tell me
That every things okay
I promise I will find peace in this
Be it on an aurora night or a sunny day

Everything is in reverse now
You have gone from slow to fast
Maybe I'm finally catching up to you
Coming to grips with this is no easy task

You can at will trade your Aurora's for Rainbows?
And beam me colorful light night and day?
I am receptive to your message
I am thankful you are traveling my way
I honestly do appreciate all you gave to me
You ask for little but gave so unselfishly
The phenomena of Aurora and the Rainbow
Now all these grandeurs are a part of me.

Now I welcome cold nights and rainy days
I know you will call out to me
I will be looking to the Northern Stars
In hopes of you I will get to see

Your cushion still lies as you left it
It adds warmth to your old place
Some
Might silently wonder who slept in this
This will always be your space

Time went by so quickly
When you were by my side
It seems it's at a standstill
But it's in you I still confide

So my dearest furry one
Again you teach me more
I say bon jour to you wherever you are
From the one I must adore.

This is not the ending
But a beginning anew
