Rainbow's Edge
I wish I may I wish I might someday reach your Rainbows Height.
The thought of this just makes me glow. I would then be with the one I love so.
Rainbows are a gift from on high. It is a reason for a new beginning erasing the need to
whisper goodbye. The truth took me a long time to perceive. It was so hard to allow your spirit
to soar free. I now know it is within His plan for yours and my reunion in this Heavenly destiny.
We are just humble humans at the edge of a well pet traveled road.
There is much still for us to learn before our stories will unfold.
I know it is selfish of me but I just so much long for you to be here.
You show me so much each day in these my waning years.
I take the greatest solace knowing the Angels treat you with so much dignity.
I will thank them personally when you are again permitted to be with me.
Time seems to be passing so quickly. Has it been two years or more?
I know I will have a rebirth when you welcome me at your door.
I too will enjoy my youth again which on earth eludes me more each day.
Meet me at the Golden Gate so together we will Cross your way.
